The Cecchetti ballet teaching method is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is a world-renowned syllabus with a rich heritage.
We offer regular classes for students from 4 years to adult, with optional examinations as well as performance opportunities - all in a supportive and friendly environment. Our awarding body is the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), one of the oldest dance training associations in the world, whose qualifications are approved by Ofqual, the government's exam regulator. The syllabus we follow was devised by renowned ballet master Enrico Cecchetti (1850-1928) who taught Anna Pavlova, Ninette De Valois and Vaslav Nijinsky to name but a few.
Classes begin again on Tuesday 1st September, and it is a 7 week half term.
We have a new Standard 1 class on Sunday teatimes 5.30pm for children 7/8 years old, taught in Emily's private studio, beginning Sunday 6th September.
