The Cecchetti ballet teaching method is suitable for all ages and abilities. It is a world-renowned syllabus with a rich heritage.
We offer regular classes for children and adults, with optional examinations as well as performance opportunities - all in a supportive and friendly environment. Our awarding body is the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance (ISTD), one of the oldest dance training associations in the world, whose qualifications are approved by Ofqual, the government's exam regulator. The syllabus we follow was devised by renowned ballet master Enrico Cecchetti (1850-1928) who taught Anna Pavlova, Ninette De Valois and Vaslav Nijinsky to name but a few.
Pre-term revision classes take place this week in the Studio, at normal class times (30th August - 2nd September). For some children's classes they replace classes missed in July and so there is no charge.
Exams are Saturday 15th October.
Please note that there are no places available for children younger than 8 years in the 2016-17 session.
